Documentation: A Standard of Care (SC)

Documentation is part of the job duties in providing care. This is the same whether you provide care in their home, in a residential group home, a nursing home, a hospital, etc. Documentation is a requirement and it is in place to protect the individual, the person providing care, the company, and any programs involved. It is essential to a person's care that the care provider understand the components of good documentation.
